Coach Scott Rutherford

Coach Rutherford is in his 1st year at Kingwood and his 8th year coaching high school soccer.  He grew up in Mesquite, Texas and is a graduate of The University of North Texas.  He most recently served as the Head Girls Soccer Coach at Mesquite High School from 2008-2015.   In 2008 he was named the District 12-5A Girls Soccer Coach of the Year.  Scott is married to Savannah, an English teacher at KHS, and they have two daughters, Hazel and Ivy.
